Who We Are?
We are an outstanding care provider for the elderly and infirm sisters who need assistance in our religious congregations in Malawi.
The process of establishing a Wellness & Elder Care Network of Religious Sisters in Malawi started in December 2023 and is to be registered as a Trust under the Malawi Government by early October 2024. The aim is to improve the way we care for elderly and infirm sisters in religious congregations in Malawi. This is done by developing a wellness community centered for all the nine religious congregations participating in the network. The religious congregations participating in the Wellness & Elder Care Network of Religious Sisters in Malawi are Sisters of Divine Providence (SDP), Sisters of Our Lady (SOOL), Servants of the Blessed Virgin Mary (SBVM), Presentation Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary (PBVM), Sisters of the Holy Spirit (SHS), Theresian Sisters (TS), Mary Immaculate Conception (MIC), Mary Consoler of the Afflicted (MCA) and Sisters of the Holy Rosary (SHR). Although there are several private facilities available in each religious congregations participating in the network those elders are living with limited support and were forced to live a miserable life in their respective communities.
Our Vision
To be an outstanding elderly care provider within religious congregations, to provide post work support for religious sisters for their selfless giving to the mission of preaching the Gospel in different areas of Malawi.
